SUFFAH Welfare Trust

Al-Suffah or Suffah is a well-known name/word for Muslims. Initially it was just a platform covered with palm leaves attached with the Prophet’s Mosque in Madina city established by the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) as a place for needy people. The SUFFAH carries forward the same mission under the slogan:

“MISSION OF THE HOLY PROPHET (PBUH) IS OUR MISSION.”

SUFFAH is not alone it has 03 types of partners too which are

  1. Inter-Governmental Organisations (IGOs) including United Nations Organisation (UNO)
  2. Governmental Organisations (GOs) including Social Security Institutions (PESSI, SESSI)
  3. Non-Governmental Organisations like Akhuwat. etc, 

SUFFAH launches five types of operations which are given below

  1. Voice of Virtue: Operations in which the world is guided to virtue by tongue.
  2. Path of Purity: Operations in which the world is forced  to do everything legally instead of crimes.
  3. Light of Law: Operations in which light of law and justice is spread every where.
  4. Hands of Hope: Operations in which helping people with money is focused specially to hopeless,
  5. Seed of Service: Operations in which those who need to be served are served like old, sick and handicaped individuals who are alone in the world or left alone by everyone.

Administration

The SUFFAH Supreme Department (Administration) is one of the top 09 departments of SUFFAH headed by Supreme Director General (Administration) who operates from Supreme Directorate General (Administration) and is supported by Supreme Division of Staff (Administration). It fulfils its following responsibilities under the slogan:

“WE ARE DOING WHAT EVERYONE MUST DO-LET’S DO IT TOGETHER.”

It is the backbone of the platform which controls each and everything in it from preparation and implementation of laws including Constitution, Rules, Guidelines, Policies and Codes to management of staff (Organizers) like appointment, transfer, posting, shuffling, termination, penalties and actions. It also monitors and evaluates performance, reports, discipline and decorum of the platform, beneficiaries and benefiters too.   

Finance

The SUFFAH Supreme Department (Finance) is one of the top 09 departments of SUFFAH headed by Supreme Director General (Finance) who operates from Supreme Directorate General (Finance) and is supported by Supreme Division of Staff (Finance). It fulfils its following responsibilities under the slogan:

“WE ACCOUNT AND SERVE WITH INTEGRITY AND TRUST.”

It is a key department which arranges/ manage finance from all sources to fulfil needs of the platform itself and to provide services to SUFIs (One registered with SUFFAH). 

Information

This Department is one of the top 09 departments of SUFFAH headed by Supreme Director General (Information) who operates from Supreme Directorate General (Information) and is supported by Supreme Division of Staff (Information). It fulfils its following responsibilities under the slogan:

“WE REVEAL TRUTH AND LIGHT REFLECTS.”

It is a basic department which provides information, knowledge, updates, news, articles, blogs etc. through all sources of communication and advertisement including events, sessions, social media, print media, marketing etc. to everyone. It is front desk of the platform.

Registration

This Department is one of the top 09 departments of SUFFAH headed by Supreme Director General (Registration) who operates from Supreme Directorate General (Registration) and is supported by Supreme Division of Staff (Registration). It fulfils its following responsibilities under the slogan:

“A SUFI–IS NEVER ORPHANED, FOR SUFFAH LIVES ON.”

It is the starting point for a SUFI (One registered with SUFFAH) to become eligible to avail benefits/services from the platform. Users have to fill a form online, put some basic information in it about themselves including their personal mobile numbers and submit request for approval. After approval they become SUFIs means they have been registered. Their personal mobile numbers are their registration number in the platform.

Contact

This Department is one of the top 09 departments of SUFFAH headed by Supreme Director General (Contact) who operates from Supreme Directorate General (Contact) and is supported by Supreme Division of Staff (Contact). It fulfils its following responsibilities under the slogan:

“OUR DOOR IS ALWAYS OPEN AND HEART IS ALWAYS LISTENING.”

It is responsible for connecting a SUFI (One registered with SUFFAH) or a new user with SUFFAH through any source of communication including website contact form, email, WhatsApp, live chat, Call, visit, meeting or hard correspondence etc. This connection may be from SUFI to SUFFAH or SUFFAH to SUFI. 

Support

This Department is one of the top 09 departments of SUFFAH headed by Supreme Director General (Support) who operates from Supreme Directorate General (Support) and is supported by Supreme Division of Staff (Support). It fulfils its following responsibilities under the slogan:

“STRONG HANDS FOR STRUGGLERS.”

This department manages physical visits, meetings and support in person to anyone where online communication help through Contact department is not enough. 

Services

This Department is one of the top 09 departments of SUFFAH headed by Supreme Director General (Services) who operates from Supreme Directorate General (Services) and is supported by Supreme Division of Staff (Services). It fulfils its following responsibilities under the slogan:

“WE SEEK AND SERVE AT EVERY STEP – FROM BEFORE BIRTH TO BEYOND DEATH.”

This is the main department which is responsible for provision of all types of services to its beneficiaries including Ration, Clothes, Residence, Travel, Education, Livelihood, Occasions, Incidents & Operations.

Development

This Department is one of the top 09 departments of SUFFAH headed by Supreme Director General (Development) who operates from Supreme Directorate General (Development) and is supported by Supreme Division of Staff (Development). It fulfils its following responsibilities under the slogan:

“WE ARE BUILDING TODAY FOR A BETTER TOMORROW.”

This is the main department responsible for progress, upgradation and improvements in the system through planning based upon required of the time period in the light of feedback, complaints, suggestions, reivews, comments etc.
