PESSI Death Grant (Funeral)
Description
Lump-sum cash grant equal to 100% of the deceased secured worker's last drawn wages, paid to the dependent(s) to cover funeral and immediate expenses. This one-time financial support helps the family cope with costs arising from the worker's death.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
Deceased must be a secured worker registered under PESSI at the time of death; claim must be filed by a dependent or family member who bears funeral expenses
