Description
Interest-free loan (Qarz-e-Hasna) designed to free low-income individuals from exploitative high-interest debt owed to private moneylenders. Akhuwat directly pays off the outstanding amount to the lender in the presence of the borrower, then the borrower repays Akhuwat in easy monthly installments with zero interest.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
Pakistani citizen with valid CNIC; age 18–62 years; must have proof of existing high-interest debt from private moneylender or informal source; belong to low-income background; honest and trustworthy in community; show willingness and plan to repay
