PHATA Apni Chhat Apna Ghar
Description
Interest-free housing loan of up to PKR 1.5 million for low- and middle-income families in Punjab who own a small plot (up to 5 marla urban, up to 10 marla rural) but cannot afford construction. Loans are repaid in easy monthly installments over 7 to 9 years with no interest or hidden charges. The scheme also includes Apni Chhat Mehfooz Chhat for home repairs and additional floor construction.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
Permanent resident of Punjab; valid CNIC; must own a plot of up to 5 marla in urban areas or up to 10 marla in rural areas; low- or middle-income category; PMT score of 60 or below in Punjab Socio-Economic Registry (PSER); no criminal record or major loan defaults; priority given to widows, orphans, differently-abled persons, daily wage workers, and women-headed households
