PESSI Survivors Pension
Description
Monthly pension equal to 100% of the deceased worker's last drawn wages, payable to eligible survivors (widow, children, dependent parents) when death results from employment injury. Medical care for dependents continues alongside the pension.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
Deceased must be a secured worker under PESSI; death must arise from employment injury; survivors must qualify per PESSI Pension Regulations 2003. Widow receives 3/5th share until death or remarriage; each of two children receives 1/5th (son till age 21, daughter till marriage); dependent parents receive pension in absence of widow and children
